The staff at the hostel were very friendly and helpful, always providing great service. Additionally, the hostel had a cozy common area where it was easy to interact with other guests, creating a friendly atmosphere. Another advantage was the convenient location, not far from a bus station, convenience store, and local eateries.
The Wi-Fi at the hostel was problematic, often taking more than 5 minutes to connect and experiencing frequent drops, which was frustrating. The 8 bed dorm room felt quite cramped and lacked fresh air.

The hostel is conveniently located close to a few bus stops, making it easy to explore the island. It is also close to a bus stop for buses heading to West Maui, providing convenient transportation options.
The hostel is not close to the beach at all.

had an unexpectedly great stay! spacious rooms, helpful staff, and plenty of activities. exceeded my previous Wailuku experience. highly recommend, especially for solo travelers.
Limited ventilation in small bathrooms.

The upgraded room was smaller than expected. The double bed was uncomfortable and had a noticeable slope. The noise from other guests cooking made it difficult to sleep.

The hostel offered an amazing quality/price ratio. The cleanliness of the place was fantastic, and I really appreciated the spacious and cute room, even though the furniture was a bit old. The self-made breakfast was a lovely touch, with pancakes, tea/coffee, and fresh eggs. The location was perfect for exploring the whole island, as there were multiple bus options to get to different destinations like Lahaina, the airport, and beautiful places like Paia and Makawao.
There were a few drawbacks to my stay. The WiFi was quite slow due to too many users at the same time.

Our Christmas vacation at this hostel was amazing! The facility was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Each private room had an AC unit and mini fridge, which was a bonus. The shared bathrooms were kept clean and there were ample facilities for laundry. One great advantage was the community kitchen stocked with all necessary items and the availability of eggs and pancake mix for a delicious breakfast. The location was key, with easy access to transportation and other beautiful destinations in the area. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return for another vacation!
Although our stay was fantastic, there were a couple of downsides. some areas of the hostel seemed a bit run down and in need of renovation.
